Q: Genius Vision VMS跟其他相類似的產品比較起來有何特點？

本公司全功能的VMS是一套經縝密整合、高效能、易於使用的產品。「全功能」的意思是本產品將以下功能整合成一套產品：

  • NVR: 數位錄影軟體。可快速錄影及回放，系統設計為可承受龐大資料量。
  • CMS: 中央控管系統。可透過多層次、多伺服器之方式同時管理多台主機，亦可透過eMAP及警報觸發等設定達到易於管理大型系統之目的。
  • IVS: 智慧型視覺分析系統：即時分析視訊，具高精確性，多種應用包含：辨別物件移動方向、計數、虛擬電子圍籬、遺失物、外來物以及影像破壞偵測等功能。
  • 360°全景監視: 將全景360度錄影進系統中，並可在回放時選擇並旋轉至不同角度，以確保監視無死角。

 

這些子系統都整合進同一個產品中，所有的軟體操作都可以透過遠端執行，亦可在Internet Explorer瀏覽器中執行同樣的操作，使用者無須學習兩套操作方式，亦無須在遠端或瀏覽器的環境中犧牲某些功能。

Q: Do you have feature X?

Through the years of experience dealing with real world IP surveillance problems, we have developed tons of features (see Feature Matrix). Even those features which are very speical, including:

  • Maximum 512x playback with SmartSearch
  • MPEG-4 & H.264 frame-by-frame backward playback
  • Remotely control matrix display stations and multiple monitors. Views up to 256 channels per monitor at the same time.
  • Synchronized playback up to 25 channels.
  • Intelligent video analytics, including counting cars or tamper detection.
  • Motion activity amount display on timebar.
  • Identical local and remote interface, which can fit in Internet Explorer browser.
  • Remote eMAP editing with arbitrary camera icon angle and real-time status reflection.
  • Multiple-channel aggregrated snapshot in alarm notification Email.
  • Support 3GPP streaming natively in NVR.
  • Unlimited multi-layered CMS.
  • And so on…

 

Even with such strong feature set, we are still developing newer features. If there is a feature X that we don't currently have, we will add to our roadmap in fast response on customer's need. The schedule of a feature development includes following factors:

  • Is a feature generic to most customers or it's designed for a specific case?
  • Is there a confirmed purchase order waiting this feature?
  • Is the testing equipment ready?

Q: What cameras do you support?

We support major brands of IP cameras. Detailed supporting matrix please refer to our Camera Supporting Matrix.

 

As IP video standard (such as ONVIF or PSIA) is not fully adopted by all vendors, supporting a specific brand of IP camera is often a consideration of engineering resource. In other words, a business decision. If there are potential business that can come from integrating an IP camera brand, we will be more than happy to do the integration.

2. Solid Engineering Background and Direct Communication

We are a solid and experienced engineering team. When you talk to us, you will most likely be talking directly to our R&D team, rather than a mere sales contact window. We are prepared to work with you to deal with any software problems you might encounter when you are in the front-line facing end-users.

Q: How to buy software license?

Without considering other factors including partner network and/or regional exclusive resell rights, our minimum single order is US$3,000.

Q: I am not familar with the brand name "Genius Vision"?

Genius Vision is established at April 2007. Since then we have been working very hard to build a solid and complete software platform for IP video surveillance and has been proven successfully in many mission-critical projects (see our Track Records).

 

We did not have much marketing budget to do advertisement or attending trade-shows, as we spent most of our efforts perfecting our products to be more complete and bullet-proof. SecuTech 2011 will be our first trade-show to introduce to the world our products.

Q: Do you sell hardware?

At curernt stage, our role is to provide pure software product and integration service. We do not currently provide hardware solutions. We could, however, introduce business opportunities that involves various hardware (server, camera, or storage) needs to our partners.

 

Alternatively, you can hire us to test and integrate a suite of hardware solutions for you (combined with our software). We are very good at this.

Q: What's your pricing structure?

Our All-in-One Video Management Software has three levels of unit pricing:

  • Standard
  • Professional
  • Intelligent

 

Each with different function sets. Number of units is calculated by the number of cameras used in a system. Our price is very competitive comparing to the same level of product quality in the market.

 

License for using special features like 360° Panorama surveillance is sold seperately.
